Chapter 1 Call Of The Wild
A girl is sitting at the edge of her balcony waiting for the sun to rise. Her birthday is coming and she knows her parents will purchase her something she has longed for her whole life. The sun is rising, and she knows this as she observes the reds, oranges, pinks, and yellow replacing the place of the stars. Soon, the stars disappear and the moon sets. The day is here. It is a Monday, and everyone is returning to school, following their fall break.
“Moonwatcher!” her mother shouted.
“Coming, Mother!” she called out. Moonwatcher immediately dashed into her room, and slammed her balcony door, threw on her clothes, and darted downstairs.
“There’s my ray of moonlight!” Her dad professed. Moonwatcher’s family of women possess a special relationship with the moon, but Moonwatcher doesn't know what kind of relationship it is.
“Eat up, Dear,” her mom demanded with a plate filled with moon-shaped pancakes.
“Okay, Mom…” muttered Moonwatcher as she trailed off.
“Are you ready to get back to school?” her dad asked, concerned.
“Oh, you bet I am!” she joyfully shouted.
“Well, we are going to celebrate your birthday with your Mimi and Papa after school today,” Moonwatcher’s mother remarked.
Moonwatcher excitedly decided to meet up with three very good friends of hers. Blake, Hannah, and Presley. Hannah is a sweet, kind person willing to do her best. Blake is strong and passionate and always willing to do anything; she will face anything, like the school bully, Maeciee. Presley is always passionate with a desire to work with others and to help pass out papers and snacks.
“Can we go now? Can we go now? Can we go NOW?” asked Moonwatcher, despite seeing her friends. “Alright, your father will take you…” said her mother. “Hey! Say what now?!” her dad said.
“Okay, here is your destination!” her dad said, bringing a stop in the school drop-off line. “Bye Dad!” shouted Moonwatcher as she headed for the door. “Hey girls, how was your break?” said Presley with joy and excitement.
“My break was amazing!!! I got to see the full moon on a boat in my neighborhood lake!” said Moonwatcher, moving her hand like she was showing the stars.
“Oh hey! My break was AWESOME. We went to the pumpkin patch!” saids Hannah.
“WOW! Those breaks sound awesome. I went to Greece and went on a tour around the city. I saw this BEAUTIFUL castle, and we swam with dolphins on the prettiest beach. I had the BEST time!” said Presely, about to lose her mind with how excited she was to tell her BFFs.
“Ooooo fun!” “Do you girls want to go to see the full moon tomorrow night? There's an urban legend that on the night of Halloween if you stare into a full moon you will turn into a werewolf!” says Hannah
“Sounds amazing!” shouted Moonwatcher. “I can’t wait! I’ll go watch the moon with you!”
“Me too. I bet it will be super fun!” said Presely
“STUDENTS, PLEASE HEAD OVER TO YOUR FIRST HOUR CLASS,” said Mr. Colton, the school principal over the intercom.
“Oh! We better get going!” said Moonwatcher as she headed for her first class.
“Oh! Me too! See you around girls!”
“Aww, ok see ya!”
Chapter 2 The Shine Of the Full Moon
Moonwatcher hurries down the hall with Hannah and Blake. Moonwatcher has a specific schedule she has to go to. Here it is:

She finds her seat and sits down, getting out her Math Binder. Her friends and Maeciee do the same.
“Alright guys, after your fall break, we are doing a review of your Order Of Operations,” said our math teacher, Mrs. Willson. She hands us a piece of paper and privacy folders. They keep people from looking at your answers. We all started the test.
“What is it? What is it? WHAT IS IT???” Moonwatcher thinks, struggling on question #23. She looks for things to get her mind off and she sees Maeciee cheating! She immediately raises her hand and Mrs. Willson comes over. “Maeciee is cheating!” Moonwatcher says.
Mrs. Willson looks at Maeciee. “Maeciee-” says Mrs. Willson as she is stopped by Maeciee in the middle of her sentence.
“It’s MAE and what is your problem?” she asked.
“May I see your Math Binder?” she said.
“No- I mean yes…” said Mae.
“Now you have learned your lesson NOT TO CHEAT.” Mrs. Willson says. She walked off.
Maciee gave Moonwatcher the “I am coming for you” glare. Moonwatcher ignored her. Moonwatcher continued her review and finished.
* * *
“Hey my moonlight! How was school?” asked Moonwatcher’s dad as she walked inside the car.
“OH GREAT!” said Moonwatcher and she talks about how great her day is.
* * *
“Ding, Dong!” The doorbell rang. “I’LL GET IT!” said Moonwatcher as she ran for the door.
“Well there is my little star!” said Moonwatcher’s Mimi as she hurled her arms around her granddaughter.
“Ok Mimi, I’m not a little kid anymore!” said Moonwatcher as she put her arms around her Mimi as well.
“Hey Papa!” said Moonwatcher as she let go of her Mimi and went to her Papa and gave him a hug.
“Tonight is a very special night you know!” said her Papa. “Alright guys! Y'all ready to head out?” said her dad headed for the front door. Everyone followed.
Instead of going to a restaurant, we drove to a forest.
“Ummmmmmmmmmmm, I thought we were going to dinner,” said Moonwatcher, concerned.
“Oh, we are at dinner darling,” said her Mother.
They let their body into the moonlight holding these crystals. They were werewolves. Moonwatcher’s Papa handed her a crystal just like her Mimi and Mother had. This wasn’t any kind of crystal. This was a moonstone.
“Go on,” said her father.
She stepped into the light. All of the sudden, a pain in her chest rose like something was being pulled out of her heart. Hands turned to paws, nails turned to claws, skin turned to fur, her back grew a tail, her teeth turned razor sharp. All of the sudden, it was over. Moonwatcher was a werewolf.
“H-H-H-HOW IN THE WORLD IS THIS POSSIBLE???” said Moonwatcher, looking at her mother.
“It’s ok. We are going to teach you to hunt.”
“HUNT?!”
Chapter 3 Life Of A Werewolf
Moonwatcher’s Mimi and Mother start running on four legs to gain speed. Moonwatcher copies. They soon arrived home.
“Hey, that crystal, you have to keep that by you. Okay?”
“Alright Papa,” said Moonwatcher as she drifted to sleep. She learns how to hunt that night and she finally goes home and heads to sleep.
The next day, Moonwatcher can’t stop thinking about what an amazing time she had last night. “H-Hey guys. What’s up..?” said Moonwatcher, slowly trailing off on her sentence.
“Ummmmmmmmm, you ok Moonwatcher?” said Prestly, concerned as if her friend just had gotten a F- in her math grade.
“Yeah, you look tired. You are NEVER tired!” said Blake as she was about to scream.
“Yeah. Is there something wrong Moon?” said Hannah, holding her friend’s hand.
“No. Nothing is wrong.” said Moonwatcher.
“There IS something wrong with you. WHAT IS IT? TELL US!” said Blake as she was about to lose her mind.
“It’s just… nothing.” said Moonwatcher as she went to her next class.
At lunch, Moonwatcher set her stuff down at a table and went to get a drink. She came back to see a surprise.
“Hello there.” said Mae, sitting next to Hannah, where Moonwatcher had set down her place.
“Where is my plate Maeciee?” said Moonwatcher, walking over to Maeciee.
“Oh it’s right over there.” said Maeciee, pointing at Moonwatcher’s plate at an empty table.
“OH! And there is no table hopping allowed!” said Maeciee smiling.
That day, Moonwatcher sat alone, thinking why Maeciee is so mean to her. After lunch, she goes to her Study Hall with Prestly, Blake, and Hannah. Maeciee is in their Study Hall too.
“Are you guys ready to see the full moon tonight?” said Hannah, filled with joy.
“I AM!” shouted Blake, hurting everyone’s ears.
“Ummmmmm, I’m not so sure now…” said Moonwatcher as she looked at her friends nervously.
“Oh come on! It’s not like you're an actual werewolf,” said Hannah.
“Yeah!” said Prestley.
“Hey, Hey, Hey Losers!” said Maeciee. “I heard you are going to see the full moon, huh?” said Maeciee.
“Well you’re not coming,” said Blake, moving in front of her friends.
“You know what Blake, you have a bad attitude,” said Maeciee smiling.
“Actually, I just have a personality you can’t handle,” said Blake and she slapped Maeciee in the face with her hair.
“Aaaagh!” said Maeciee as she went off.
“Hey thanks Blake!” said Moonwatcher as she went to hug her.
“Now, who’s ready to see the full moon?” said Hannah with joy.
“ME!” shouted Blake and Prestly, spinning around in circles, losing their minds.
“Um, sure?” said Moonwatcher, a little unconfident with herself. “Oh shoot, the real problem is starting now.”
Chapter 4 Werewolf Powers Might Be Too Much
We start heading to the dock. The moon is hiding behind the clouds right now, but Moonwatcher can start to feel that sharp pain again already.
“Y’all ready?” said Hannah.
“S-S-Sure. OUCH!” said Moonwatcher as she could feel the pain growing and growing as she got closer and closer to the moon.
“Hey! You okay Moonwatcher?” said Blake looking at her friend.
Moonwatcher’s other friends looked at her too. “Yeah you look, hurt.” said Prestley.
“Yeah, physically hurt. Why are you putting your hand on your chest?” said Hannah looking worried at her friend.
“Oh it’s… nothing.” said Moonwatcher as the moon was almost out.
Moonwatcher hides in the shadows, trying not to look at the moon.
“COME ON MOONWATCHER!!! IT’S ABOUT TO BEGIN!!!” said Blake screaming to try to get Moonwatcher’s attention.
“Ummmmmmmm, not now!” she shouted back.
“Oh come on! It’s about to be here!” said Hannah as she went to grab her friend’s arm.
“Nooooooooo!” said Moonwatcher as Hannah pulled her out. The clouds uncovered the moon and it shined on Moonwatcher. “AAAAAAAAAAHHH!” she shouted as she turned into her werewolf self.
“MOONWATCHER?” shouted Blake as her other friends watched in horror.
“WAIT YOU'RE THE MOONWATCHER?” said Hannah in terror.
“Guys I’m sorry. I just got this power on the night of my birthday,” said Moonwatcher looking at her friends. "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US WE COULD'VE HELPED YOU!" said Blake.
“But I had to keep it a secret. This was also about my family. I hope you understand. Can you help me?” said Moonwatcher, looking sorry at her friends for grace.
“It's ok, but we are your best friends. You know you can tell us anything and plus, we NEVER would share serious secrets like this,” says Hannah as she hugs her friend.
“Oh, guys! Thank you so much for doing this for me!” says Moonwatcher as the rest of her friends come in on the group hug too.
“WAIT GUYS! Maybe there's a secret potion to reverse it?” said Hannah.
“But I want to keep my werewolf powers!” said Moonwatcher as she looked off to a boat in the distance with a girl, smiling on a boat. “It’s Maeciee!” shouted Moonwatcher as she pointed to the boat she was on.
Maciee had a mini-gun and she shot a silver bullet that hit Moonwatcher.
“AAAAAAAAHH!” shouted Moonwatcher. Silver is the only weakness to werewolves. Moonwatcher fell to the ground of the boat.
“MOONWATCHER!” shouted Hannah. Blake stares at Maeciee.
“Don’t worry! We’ll get you home!” said Prestley.
“T-That's not what I'm worried about. I-it’s Maciee. She’s goi-” Moonwatcher stopped as she fell to the ground unconscious.
“MOONWATCHER!” shouted Hannah, as she raced to her friend. They turned the boat around and took Moonwatcher home.
Chapter 5 Secret that you’re a werewolf might lead to losing your powers
“MR. AND MRS. MOON!” shouted Hannah as she and her friends were carrying Moonwatcher in their hands.
“MOONWATCHER!” shouted her mother as she ran out of the house, not minding to go and turn into her werewolf self to race to her daughter.
“It’s okay. Your family secret is safe with us,” said Hannah helping carry Moonwatcher to her bed, along with Blake and Prestley.
“W–Will she be alright? Will she survive?” asked Prestley.
“Silver Darts are meant to only knock out werewolves. Hunters want to kill them themselves,” said Moonwatcher’s mom.
“I’m glad she is going to be safe,” said Hannah with tears running down her face. Everyone had tears running down their faces. Moonwatcher slowly woke up.
“M-Moonwatcher?” said Hannah, looking at her friend.
“I-I’m here,” said Moonwatcher looking at her best friend.
“MOONWATCHER!” shouted Hannah as she ran and gave Moonwatcher a big, werewolf hug.
The next day it was at school, Moonwatcher was meeting with her friends at their locker pod. “WOW. You guys saved me last night!” said Moonwatcher.
“You’re our friend Moonwatcher!” said Prestley.
“Yeah! We would never-” said Blake but she was stopped in the middle of her sentence.
“Hey, hey, hey Losers!” said Maeciee. She goes by everyone. “Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Beautiful. Yuck. Disgusting. Yuck. Yuck. Werewolf. Yuc- OH WAIT! I forgot about you.” said Maeciee with a smirk on her face.
“Cut it, Maeciee,” said Moonwatcher.
“Oh, but I don’t want to.” said Maeciee. She grabbed Moonwatcher’s arm and pulled her into the locker pod privately. “I know your secret, Moonwatcher, and if you don’t do what I say, I will share your secret with the whole school and beyond,” said Maeciee with a big smile on her face.
“FINE. But don’t blame me if you’re expelled,” said Moonwatcher. Maeciee held out her hand for a hand shake. Moonwatcher shook her hand back.
Moonwatcher went to her friends and told them what happened.
“Agh! Maeciee is SOOOO annoying! We have to take care of this right now!” said Hannah, her hand in a fist.
“ATTENTION STUDENTS, TOMORROW NIGHT ON THE FULL MOON, WE ARE DOING A VERY IMPORTANT, END OF THE YEAR SCHOOL DANCE,” said Mr. Colten over the intercom.
“THE FULL MOON?!” said Moonwatcher about to freak out.
“HOW ARE YOU GOING TO KEEP IT A SECRET?!” shouted Blake who was spinning in circles. Again.
“Ummmmmm, don’t worry, we’ll figure it out. Somehow…” said Hannah, holding her friend’s hand to give her comfort.
“But I have to keep my crystal with me at all times!” said Moonwatcher, about to go over to Maeciee and stomp her foot.
“Woah, woah, woah, whoa! Calm down! We’ll do this later but right now we need to get to our second hour,” said Prestley, walking to her next hour.
They walked into a room with a sign that said, “Come into Science with Mrs. Whitton!”
“Well, here we are,” said Moonwatcher with a worried look on her face.
“Don’t worry, we’ll figure something out. Maybe…” said Prestly with that same look on Moonwatcher’s face.
“But the dance is on a full moon! A FULL MOON! What are we going to do?! Maeciee knows my secret and she has silver darts, and the dance is on a full moon! A FULL MOON!” said Moonwatcher as she was losing her mind.
“Relax, I'm sure everything will work out, you gotta stay positive,” said Hannah.
“But I have to avoid this dance! How am I supposed to avoid them? Especially Maeciee!” said Moonwatcher as she almost fainted.
“IT’S MAE, YOU KNUCKLE-HEAD!” blurted out Maeciee from across the hall.
“Geeze,” said Blake as she stared at Maeciee.
“Alright guys! Today, we are going to do a volcano experiment and we are going to set them up at the dance, and when the full moon rises, we’ll set them off!” said Mrs. Whitton as she passed out zipper-bags to everyone. Moonwatcher raised her hand.
“Yes, Moonwatcher?” said Mrs. Whitton as she turned her attention to her.
“Can we use anything that is not in this bag?” asked Moonwatcher.
“No. You can only use what’s in your bag. Now, I will assign you into groups. First group, Blake, Carlos, and Evie. Next, Moonwatcher, June, and Maeciee. Third, Emma, James, and Conley.” said Mrs. Whitton as she smiled at her class.
“Now, you have only 30 minutes to finish this so do it well, but hurry up!” said Mrs. Whitton as she started the timer. Moonwatcher looked up at the board to see the instructions. “Okay Losers, I am totally the leader here so listen up! Do as I say and we will win this thing,” said Maeciee. “Now, June, start to make a base! Chop Chop! Moonwatcher, find out if there is an example we can use so we can get this done faster and so we can win,” said Maeciee putting a smile on her face.
“Wouldn't that be cheating?” said Moonwatcher, glaring at Maeciee. Maeciee pointed to Mrs. Whitton reminding Moonwatcher of what Maeciee had said.
“Go to the table that Blake, Carlos, and Evie are at and see what they are doing. We’ll copy off of them,” said Maeciee, pointing at the table that they were at.
“Fine.” said Moonwatcher, grabbing the plan that Blake and her team made.
She brought it to Maeciee. Maeciee wrote the plan down on their plan sheet and they placed it back where it was.
“ALRIGHT CLASS, TIME’S UP!” said Mrs. Whitton as everyone’s hands went in the air. Blake turned her head to see and check on Moonwatcher but she came to a surprise that Moonwatcher and her group had the same thing as they did.
“THIS THING WITH MAECIEE NEEDS TO STOP RIGHT NOW!” shouted Blake at lunch.
“Focus, the full moon is tonight. How is Moonwatcher going to avoid it?” said Hannah taking a bite of her sandwich.
“Yeah, this needs to be dealt with, or else the whole school is going to see that Moonwatcher is a werewolf,” said Prestly, looking at her friend.
“Don’t worry about me. I’m worried about you,” mumbled Moonwatcher as she shoved away her food.
“We need to figure something out, Moonwatcher, or it’s over for you.”
Chapter 6 - It is Over for Me
It’s time for the dance and Moonwatcher and her friends are in the school wondering if they should go out to the dance with everyone or if they should stay and see if the teachers notice.
“We have to do something!” shouted out Blake about to run in circles. Again.
“We really do!” shouted Moonwatcher. “My kind will be hunted down to extinction if we don’t do this!” said Moonwatcher as she was starting to panic.
“Hey girls! Are you ready?” said Mr. Colton as he passed by the girls staring at them.
“Umm, yeah. We’re ready…” said Prestley as she trailed off in her sentence.
“See you out there! OH! We can walk together!” Mr. Colten excitedly said as he started walking for the door as he waited for the girls. They followed. Moonwatcher’s heart was racing. The moon was getting closer and closer and closer. The pain she had felt before was rising and rising. And the moon was hidden. The clouds blocked it. But it was about to come back out again. “Gulp.” said Moonwatcher as she saw the moon coming out.
“PEOPLE LISTEN!” shouted Maeciee as she went on stage. “WE HAVE A BETRAYER! A TRAITOR! WE HAVE A WEREWOLF AMONG US! WHEN THAT FULL MOON RISES, YOU WILL SEE THE TRUE FORM OF…”
“No. NO.” thought Moonwatcher as the stars appeared and Moonwatcher once again turned to her werewolf self.
“...MOONWATCHER, THE WEREWOLF!” shouted Maeciee.
Moonwatcher was not the only one who transformed. So did…
“MR. COLTEN???” shouted Moonwatcher.
“Yes, it is me, you shall bow down to me and cure my curse. I am done with THIS WEREWOLF BUSINESS,” said Mr. Colten in a dark voice. Maeciee jumped off the stage and shot Mr. Colton with a silver dart.
“AAAAAAAAAAHH!” shouted Mr. Colton as he transformed into an outraging beast. “He’s gone. He transformed into the thing that no werewolf ever comes back from this. He’s now a wilderwolf,” Moonwatcher said in despair.
“What’s a wilderwolf?!” said Hannah, changing her mind asking.
“A wilderwolf is a werewolf that has lost complete control over his or her powers. They are werewolves that want to turn all humans into werewolves. They bite you, you are now one of them. Even a normal werewolf like me can get bitten and become one of them,” Moonwatcher said in horror as they saw the beast.
“HUMANS, YOU WILL DIE TO THE APOCALYPSE of the wilderwolves. Me and my pack will devour all humankind,” said Mr. Colten in a dark voice.
Mr. Colten darted toward a 7th Grader and bit him.
“AAAAAAAAHH!” he shouted in horror as he turned into a wilderwolf too. “JOIN US.” the student growled.
“Why would we join you?” questioned Moonwatcher.
“Because you are one of us Moonwatcher,” said Mr. Colten as he pounced for Moonwatcher.
Moonwatcher jumped over him before he bit her.
“Mr. Colten! Stop! Please!” shouted a 6th Grade girl. He ignored her and pounced over to her too and bit her.
“JOIN US. JOIN US. JOIN US,” the students said.
“NO!” shouted Blake. The student wilderwolves jumped over to Blake and tried to bite her.
“I’M NOT DONE YET! COME GET ME!” shouted Blake. The girl werewolf jumped to bite Blake. Blake was 2.89 seconds short but Moonwatcher jumped in front of her.
“MOONWATCHER!!!” shouted Hannah as she started to feel a sharp pain in her chest like something was being pulled out of her heart. Hannah turned into a werewolf.
“Y-You’re a werewolf, Hannah?” mumbled Moonwatcher in shock.
“I never knew I had this ability but I’m not worried about me. We have to get you out of here before you turn into one of them!” said Hannah as she started to pull Moonwatcher toward the door.
“We have only an hour until a werewolf turns to a wilderwolf,” said Moonwatcher as some of her light blue fur turned into dark, evil black. Prestley and Blake immediately followed the girls as they were bringing Moonwatcher back to her mother to see if she could do something before Moonwatcher transformed.
“MOONWATCHER!” shouted her mom as she ran into the house with Moonwatcher in her paws. “Mrs. Moon, do you know how I am a werewolf?” panicked Hannah looking back and forth from herself to her friend. One of Moonwatcher’s light blue eyes turned to an evil red.
“I know how to cure it but all humans need to be out of the room. Sorry Blake and Prestley,” said Moonwatcher’s Mom in panic. “Just take care of Moonwatcher for us. Okay?” said Prestley.
“We will and we will try our best but we can’t guarantee this is going to work.” said Hannah as she let Prestley and Blake out of the room.
“Okay, I’m going to need all paws on deck so I need your help if we are going to keep Moonwatcher’s soul,” said Moonwatcher’s Mom looking at Hannah with hope that she will say yes.
“Anything for Moonwatcher,” said Hannah, prepared for what job Mrs. Moon was going to give to her.
“Alright, I need you to mix this with both of Moonwatcher’s light blue fur and wilderwolf black. Then I will handle the rest,” said Mrs. Moon as she handed Hannah a cauldron. Hannah plucked a piece of light blue and evil black fur off of Moonwatcher.
“Here. Also, will there be a side-effect on Moonwatcher? Will she be the same?” asked Hannah as she handed the potion to Mrs. Moon.
“She’ll be the same, she’ll just have a scar on her leg. She might be in a wheelchair this summer though…” said Moonwatcher’s Mom as she gave Moonwatcher a sip of the potion. Moonwatcher slowly opened her eyes, her fur turned back to her light blue, and she woke up to see her friend. As a werewolf.
“Hannah, do you want to keep your werewolf powers? I like mine,” asked Moonwatcher looking at her friend.
“Of course I want to keep my powers,” said Hannah with a smile on her face. In a good way.
Epilogue
Okay, so the school has been taken over by Wilderwolves and now they are going into the city and biting everyone they can. Me and my friends have found a secret tome that might vanish all of the Wilderwolves though it might cost Prestley and Blake to become Werewolves with me and Hannah… ANYWAY! Can me and my friends stop the Wilderwoles from creating an apocalypse and turn all humankind to Wilderwolves? Or will we fail and become them ourselves?
